Year 7, 2026/2027 Enrolment Information

Thank you for expressing an interest in a place for your child at Our Lady of Mercy College. We understand that choosing a school for your child is one of life’s major decisions and requires careful thought.

Our prime focus is to ensure that your child’s educational experience enables them to develop fully and empowers them to make a positive contribution to society. We hold strongly to the view that the success of every student is important.

Below is information regarding the College Enrolment Process for students wishing to enrol for Year 7 2026, 2027 and 2028.

Step 1: Enrolment Application

Application for Enrolment Form

Please download the Application for Enrolment Form and return it to the College together with supporting documentation as outlined on the form. Please note that we are unable to accept screenshots or photos of the documents. When emailing through the documents, please send as a pdf.

You may also contact our Enrolments Department on (08) 9720 3300 (Opt. 1) to arrange payment of the $50.00 application fee.

Step 2: Invitation for Interview
When your child is in Year 5, you will receive an invitation for an Enrolment Interview.

Step 3: Enrolment Interview Conducted at the College
You and your child are to attend the Enrolment Interview at the College. This provides a valuable opportunity to familiarise yourselves with the College, ask any questions you may have, and get to know us better. We look forward to meeting you and discussing how we can support your child’s educational journey.

Step 4: Offer Documents and Confirmation of Enrolment
Upon a successful interview, offer documents will be sent to families. To secure your place, you must return the signed offer documents and pay the enrolment deposit by the indicated deadline in your offer letter.

If all places are currently allocated, you will be placed on the waitlist and contacted once a position becomes available.

Step 5: Orientation Evening
In Term 4 of your child’s final year of Primary School, they are invited to the Orientation Day. This gives your child a deeper understanding of what to expect for high school life and start building connections with their fellow students.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out. We look forward to welcoming you to our College community!
