
Year 7, 2025 Enrolment Information
Thank you for expressing an interest in a place for your child at Our Lady of Mercy College. We understand that choosing a school for your child is one of life’s major decisions and requires careful thought.
Our prime focus is to ensure that your child’s educational experience enables them to develop fully and empowers them to make a positive contribution to society. We hold strongly to the view that the success of every student is important.
Below is information regarding the College Enrolment Process for students wishing to enrol for Year 7 2025.
Step 1: Enrolment Application

Step 2: Parent Information Evening
A Parent Information Evening is planned for Term 3, 2023. This evening will provide information of a general nature and information regarding Scholarships and Bursaries by students and senior staff members. Families who have submitted an application will be invited by email. The event will also be advertised on our Facebook page.
Step 3: Enrolment Interviews
Information regarding the timeline of enrolment interviews will be made available towards the end of Term 1, 2023.
We will invite families via email to book a suitable time through our online booking link. Please note that an invitation will only be sent to families who have provided us with all relevant documents, including your child’s school reports. A reminder email has been sent to families, who have made application and are yet to send through documents.
The purpose of the interview is to provide families with a more personal opportunity to meet with a senior member of the College leadership team. The individual needs of the child will be considered and an opportunity to ask questions will be provided.
If you haven’t already done so, please email a copy of your child’s Birth Certificate, Baptism Certificate, Citizen/Visa paperwork, School report, Naplan report, as well as any Medical/Specialists reports applicable to enrolments@olmca.wa.edu.au. You may also contact our Enrolments Department on (08) 9720 3300 (Opt. 1) to arrange payment of the $50.00 application fee.
Step 4: Letter of Offer
A Letter of Offer will be posted to families after the interviews.
Step 5: Acceptance of Offer
Acceptance of Offer documents are to be returned to the College within the time frame mentioned on the Letter of Offer.
Step 6: Student Orientation Information
Student Orientation Information will be emailed to families in Term 3, 2024.
Scholarship and Bursaries
The College encourages Academic endeavours by offering Academic and Music Scholarships to Year 7 students. In addition, the College seeks to assist families (on a needs basis) in their endeavours to access Catholic Education. In partnership with MADALAH, the College makes Bursaries available for students of Aboriginal descent. The P&F provides Bursaries to assist families with the transition to secondary school.
Details on how to apply for a Scholarship or Bursary will be made available during Term 2, 2023.
