Year 12 Human Biology ATAR Class Visit to Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research

On Thursday, the Year 12 Human Biology ATAR classes went on an excursion to the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research to learn about biotechnology as part of their ATAR course.

We got to learn about Gel electrophoresis, PCR and DNA sequencing, as well as getting to use some of the technology ourselves. We had a great time and hopefully all have a greater knowledge of the course.
