Thank you to all the little people who came to visit the College on Friday, 24 May. Our Year 10 Child Development students had a fantastic morning hosting 13 local friends.
The children enjoyed listening to stories as our students practised their oral reading skills. Following Story Time, everyone engaged in a variety of play-based learning activities. The children and students worked together to construct impressive towers, painted vibrant pictures, sorted blocks and shapes, rode bikes, and enjoyed the sandpit.
The interactions have such a positive impact on both the students and the young children. Special thanks to Early Childhood Educator Mrs Natasha Shields for organising these hands-on experiences as they are invaluable for the students' growth and development as future educators.
