Message from Principal Vince Bellini - A Warm Welcome to the Final Term of 2023

I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. As we step into the final term of 2023, I would like to extend a heartfelt welcome to all our students, parents, and staff as we embark on this exciting journey together as we approach the end of another academic year.

First and foremost, I would like to congratulate our Year 12 students on reaching this significant milestone in their educational journey. The Year 12 Graduation is a momentous occasion that marks the culmination of their hard work, dedication, and resilience. The Graduation ceremony was held earlier this term and was a special event where we honoured our graduating students on their achievements.

This week marks the start of a crucial time for our Year 12 ATAR students as they begin their University Entrance Examinations. These examinations represent the culmination of years of learning, preparation, and determination for those students completing an ATAR pathway. As a college, we have every confidence in our students and their ability to do their very best in these assessments. I would like to thank our dedicated teachers and staff who will continue to provide support and guidance throughout this challenging period, ensuring that our students are well-prepared to achieve their goals.

As announced earlier this term, Mr Rob Crothers will continue with extended leave until the end of Semester 1, 2024. On behalf of the College community, I would like to extend our best wishes for a swift and full recovery.

I am delighted to share that my contract has been extended until his return, and I am grateful for this ongoing opportunity.

As we navigate the final term of 2023, we anticipate exciting challenges, inspiring achievements, and memorable moments that will contribute to the growth of our students and the school community. Together, we will continue to create a supportive and enriching learning environment for all.

To the Year 10 students, I wish you all the very best on your Outdoor Education camp and thank all those staff who have volunteered their time to allow these students to have a fantastic and memorable opportunity.

Mr Vince Bellini
