We're seeking applications for the following position:
SENIOR GROUNDS AND MAINTENANCE PERSON
As a Senior Grounds and Maintenance Person, you'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
Grounds and turf maintenance using specialised equipment
Operating and maintaining commercial reticulation systems
Gardening, pruning, and mulching
Safe application of herbicides and pesticides
Slashing native areas and maintaining fire breaks
In addition to these duties, you'll also handle property maintenance tasks like lighting, plumbing, repairs, cleaning, and painting. You'll collaborate with external providers for electrical and plumbing work.
We're looking for a highly organised and motivated individual who can:
Coordinate and oversee contractors
Manage budgets for maintenance projects
Assist with event preparation
Maintain the College bus and arrange servicing of equipment and vehicles
