We are currently inviting applications for the role of TEAM LEADER CAMPUS SERVICES

Our Lady of Mercy College Australind is a nurturing co-educational secondary College for students from Year 7 to Year 12.
 

Our College is a new and vibrant College located in Australind, which is locally referred to as an aquatic paradise. Surrounded by water with the Brunswick and Collie Rivers to the east and south and the Leschenault Estuary to the west, it's a great place for boating, sailing, windsurfing, fishing and raising a family. 
 

The Catholic faith, in the Mercy tradition, is at the heart of the College. The guiding philosophy is centred in ‘Embracing Life, Nurturing Faith and Inspiring Learning’. We encourage our students to embrace all aspects of life, to nurture their spirituality and to let their natural curiosity inspire deep learning.
 

We are looking for a highly organised individual with well-developed interactive and personal relationship skills. They will be confident in working individually and collaborating within a team context. A key aspect of this role involves the smooth day-to-day running of the College.

 

Essential Selection Criteria

 

The successful person will have;

  • A Catholic background or the ability to demonstrate empathy with the Catholic ethos of the College

  • Administration,  Leadership or Construction qualifications related to the role

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team

  • Well-developed interactive and personal relationship skills

  • Ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet appropriate deadlines

  • Professional written and oral communication skills

  • High-level organisation and planning skills

  • Uncompromising confidentiality and professionalism

  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work

  • Ability to show initiative within a team context

Desirable Selection Criteria

​

  • Knowledge and understanding of construction processes 

  • Knowledge of school administration systems  

  • Knowledge of Catholic Education processes

  • Well-developed knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite

​

Qualifications Required

​​

  • Western Australia Department of Education National Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)

  • Working with Children Screen Check

  • Have completed, working towards, or be willing to work towards completing to CEWA Accreditation requirements. Additional information can be found here: CEWA Limited Accreditation Framework

  • Formal qualifications in either Building related or Administrative services will be advantageous 

 

Hours

 

Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 4.00pm (negotiable).

44 Weeks - 48 Weeks (negotiable), including two weeks before the commencement of the academic year. 
Full-time ongoing position
Some after-hours work may be req
uired from time to time.

One week of additional leave in recognition of after-hours responsibilities.

 

Salary Package

 

Level 5, Step 6 - $83,673 commensurate with experience and qualifications
Award: Admin
istrative and Technical Officers EBA
