Excitement is building at Our Lady of Mercy College as students prepare to take the stage for this year’s highly anticipated production, School of Rock: The Musical, coming to the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre (BREC) this August.
Behind the scenes, rehearsals are already underway, with students dedicating their Monday afternoons to bringing this production to life.
Students across multiple year levels have embraced the opportunity to perform. Adding to the excitement, College alumni Josh has joined the cast, returning to the BREC stage to help bring the story to life.
At the same time, the stage is beginning to take shape. Set pieces are being constructed, costumes designed and technical elements carefully planned. Our professional performing arts staff are transforming their creative ideas into a fully realised theatrical experience.
Based on the much-loved story, School of Rock: The Musical celebrates the power of music, teamwork and self-belief. It’s a production that perfectly showcases the talent and spirit of our students.
We look forward to welcoming our community to the BREC this August for what is sure to be an unforgettable show.
