2024 P&F Report

The Parents & Friends (P&F) Committee plays a vital role in enhancing the experience of students and staff at Our Lady of Mercy College by directing funds raised through the P&F levy towards meaningful initiatives.

In 2024, the P&F apprived funding for the following:

Ongoing support

• College Breakfast Club: Funds were allocated to purchase essential food items (such as bread), replace a sandwich press and provide aprons so student volunteers could protect their uniforms.

• College Presentation Night Awards: A donation was made to contribute to the recognition of student achievements.

 

2024 Projects

• Physical Education: With the College’s rapid growth, the PE Department received funding to purchase new team uniforms, including netball dresses and bibs, football jumpers and shorts.

• Small-Group Learning Spaces: The P&F funded the purchase of three booths and tables to enhance small-group learning in the Angela Costello ground floor breakout area.

• Year 12 Common Room: Beanbags and two microwaves were provided for the Year 12 Common Room in the CM Amphitheatre, offering students additional comfort and convenience.

• First Aid Room Student Services: A microwave was purchased for the First Aid room in Student Services to assist with heating wheat bags and other necessary items for student care.
