Mercy Assembly Highlights: Welcoming New Faces, Embracing Hospitality, and Celebrating Achievements

On Tuesday, 6 February we gathered for our First Assembly of the year.

Principal Mr Vince Bellini extended a warm welcome to all students and families, setting the tone for the year ahead.

With a focus on the Mercy Value of Hospitality, Mr Bellini inspired us all to embrace inclusivity and nurture a supportive environment for every member of our community.

The assembly was also an excellent opportunity to introduce new staff members, new members of the Mercy Cricket Team, the Year 12 Council of Student Leaders, and the House leaders for 2024. This was particularly exciting as the College now has two additional Houses: Frayne and Champagnat.

Thank you to Emily, Hannah, and Ethan from the Class of 2023, who returned to celebrate their remarkable ATAR results with us. They were honoured with certificates and enjoyed a morning tea with family and staff after the assembly.

(More information on the academic achievements of the Class of 2023 can be found in this Mercy Story)

Congratulations once again on your incredible achievements!
