Exam Supervisor (Pool)

Our Lady of Mercy College Australind is a nurturing co-educational secondary College for students from Year 7 to Year 12.

Our Lady of Mercy College is a new and vibrant College, located in Australind which is locally referred to as an aquatic paradise. Surrounded by water with the Brunswick and Collie Rivers to the east and south and the Leschenault Estuary to the west, it's a great place for boating, sailing, windsurfing, fishing and raising a family. Just 11 kilometres north of Bunbury, you can reach Perth in one and a half hours along the Forrest Highway, making Australind an ideal sea change location.

The Catholic faith, in the Mercy tradition, is at the heart of the College. The guiding philosophy is centred in ‘Embracing Life, Nurturing Faith and Inspiring Learning’. We encourage our students to embrace all aspects of life, to nurture their spirituality and to let their natural curiosity inspire deep learning.

The College invites applications for the role of Exam Supervisor. The College intends to form a pool of supervisors for this position. The position is a casual position. The College will provide initial training and familiarisation to the candidate pool.
The College conducts four major exam periods between:

20th May and the 27th of May

7th June to the 14th of June

3rd October to the 11th of October
-
11th November to the 18th of November

The Exam Supervisor/s is not required to be available for each above-mentioned period. The role has the flexibility to suit the applicants’ available days/times.
​
Two exam sessions are held during the day, the first from 9am to 12 noon and the second from 1pm to 4pm. Supervisors are required to set up 30 minutes prior to examinations and tidy and close 30 minutes after examinations.
Job Description

Set up the examination room in accordance with SCSA guidelines
-
Ensuring all exam rules, including time restrictions, are followed by all candidates
-
Patrolling examination room(s) to prevent and detect academic misconduct
-
Ensuring exam papers are collected at the close of the exam and returned to authorised personnel.

Qualifications Required

Western Australia Department of Education National Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)

Working with Children Screen Check
​
Salary
​
​$30 per hour
