We are currently inviting applications for the role of COMMUNICATION AND ENROLMENT COORDINATOR

Our Lady of Mercy College Australind is a nurturing co-educational secondary College for students from Year 7 to Year 12.
The Catholic faith, in the Mercy tradition, is at the heart of the College. The guiding philosophy is centred in ‘Embracing Life, Nurturing Faith and Inspiring Learning’. We encourage our students to embrace all aspects of life, to nurture their spirituality and to let their natural curiosity inspire deep learning.
This role has responsibility for the development, implementation and coordination of the College’s communication and marketing strategies including all enrolment procedures and processes. Applicants must we willing to work some flexible hours to ensure attendance at various events.
This position will commence mid-January 2021.

Essential Selection Criteria
The successful person will have:

High level of organisation
-
Well-developed strategic thinking and planning skills
-
Demonstrated experience in the enrolment processes in an educational context
-
Ability to convert parental enquiries into student placements
-
Demonstrated experience in marketing and public relations
-
Demonstrated experience in communications in an educational context
-
Well-developed skills using Microsoft Office 365 products
-
In-depth knowledge of Adobe Suite including In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premier
-
In-depth knowledge of Word Press and Wix Website creation and editing
-
In-depth knowledge of School admin systems such as Maze and SEQTA
-
In-depth knowledge of Facebook user groups
-
Well-developed photography skills
-
In-depth knowledge of coordinating the production of printed materials and advertising
-
Event Coordination
-
Excellent data entry skills with an emphasis on speed and accuracy

Hours
8.30am – 3.15pm Monday to Friday (0.75 FTE - 40 weeks per year).
Some afterhours work may be required from time to time.
Salary
Level 3.4 – 4.2, $55,943 - $57,257 per annum (Full-time equivalent)
Award: Administrative and Technical Officers EBA
