The Year 8 Drama course uses performance work as the vehicle for students to use and improve important life skills such as confidence, creative problem solving, resilience and emotional intelligence. Through performance-building techniques such as spontaneous improvisation and devised character work, students explore real-world issues and themes within a safe, imaginative and fun context. Although this course is very performer focused, students also explore some aspects of costume design.
