Recently, a group of our Year 8 students had the opportunity to attend the Inspiring Girls Careers Forum in Bunbury. Hosted by CME DigiTech team and supported by the WA resource sector, this unique careers event is designed to showcase the incredible range of opportunities in STEM and the resources industry.

Throughout the day, our students took part in hands-on STEM activities, speed-careering conversations and team challenges. They spoke directly with local industry representatives and gained real-world insight into roles in the resources sector.

Our girls were certainly inspired at the conclusion of the day. Many reflected that it opened their eyes to jobs and careers they hadn’t considered before and will play a part in their thinking about future career direction.
