Since becoming the permanent Principal of Our Lady of Mercy College, one of Mr Bellini’s key “calls to action” has been getting the little things right. When it comes to the school uniform, we’ve seen an incredible improvement in students following the College’s expectations.
As your Student Executive Team – Olivia, Daniel, Ben and Layla – we felt these efforts deserved recognition. We proposed to Mr Bellini and the Executive Team an idea to reward students for their commitment: allowing everyone to wear their house shirts with their sports uniform every second Friday.
We’re pleased to share that our proposal was warmly received and approved!
Starting this term, the Fridays of weeks 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 – the even weeks will be a House Shirt Friday!
Please note:
This is a reward, and school uniform expectations still apply.
Students must wear their correct sports shoes and socks, house shirt, and adhere to guidelines around jewellery and facial hair.
Failure to meet these standards may result in the privilege being withdrawn.
Let’s work together to uphold our successes and respect this new policy.
A big thank you to everyone who made this possible.
Warm regards,
The Year 12 Student Executive Team
Olivia, Daniel, Ben & Layla
