Unusual but Inspiring Incursion

During Term 1, the Year 11 Biology students have been learning about biodiversity and classification. To consolidate and inspire their learning, Teacher Dr. Arthur brought in her new Cavoodle puppy, Bonnie, to highlight some of the adaptive and hybrid features of various species in real life.

In class, students used this opportunity to review biodiversity and looked at the classification of canines. Students also created dichotomous keys to identify the features of various canine species.

"We thoroughly enjoyed Bonnie’s visit as puppy snuggles and cuddles were an amazing way to end a busy week."
