Tanai Receives 2022 Pre-Apprenticeship Achievement Award and Commences Apprenticeship with JANDCO

We are pleased to announce that Tanai Shedley, our 2022 MADALAH graduate, has commenced his Electrical Apprenticeship at JANDCO Electrics Bunbury.

Throughout his studies at the College, Tanai participated in several workplace learning placements. With the support of local businesses such as Coastal IT, Holman Electrical, Water Corporation and Jandco Electrics, he gained valuable industry experience.

At the 2022 Shining Stars Celebration night for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, Tanai was awarded the 2022 Pre-Apprenticeship Achievement Award. This award was sponsored by the Maali Group and recognised Tanai's successful completion of his Electrotechnology pre-apprenticeship course at Bunbury Regional Trade Training Centre.

We extend our gratitude to the Maali Group for acknowledging Tanai's hard work and dedication, and to Brooke Cuthbertson, the College's Aboriginal Liaison Officer, for supporting him throughout his Year 12 journey.

We wish Tanai all the best as he embarks on this new chapter in his career.
