On Friday, 16 October 2020 was the official opening of the Iluka Visions Art Exhibition at the Bunbury Regional Art Galleries. Now in its 29th year, Iluka Visions showcases artworks created by students in Years 7-12 from high schools across the South West region.
The following Our Lady of Mercy College students are showcasing their work in this exhibition: Kiana Gwyn (Year 7), Jordan Everett (Year 7), Madison Sherborne (Year 11), Annalise Klem (Year 12), Andrea Rojas (Year 12), Cassidy James (Year 12 2019) and Phoebe Waddell (Year 12 2019).
Kiana Gwyn received Highly Commended for her hand-coloured lino-print, ‘Gum Nut and Flowers’, and Cassidy James received the Year 12 Prize for her artwork ‘Plastic Kills’, a mixed-media artwork including lino-printing, hand-painting, screen-printing and embossing.

Congratulations Kiana and Cassidy and all students for being selected to showcase their work. We hope this recognition gives you the confidence and encouragement to continue to create and do amazing things.
