On Wednesday, 23 August, Read House took the lead during the College Assembly, marking a special occasion to celebrate student accomplishments and pay tribute to House patron Xavier Read.
Read leaders performed their version of the Masked Singer. The performances featured appearances of Read teachers, as well as the House Patron herself, Xavier Read. Did you know that Sister Xavier Read is widely recognised for her commitment as an accomplished musician and educator? This is quite remarkable, especially since the Read House is a hub of creativity, with many students known for their outstanding musical and performing arts talents.
During the assembly, Mrs Branson and Principal Mr Vince Bellini had the privilege of awarding College Colours to a select group of Year 12 students. These individuals were recognised for their academic achievements, their community spirit and their dedication to embodying our College's Faith values. Congratulations to all.
Sports Captains Noah Mills and Calista Harvey highlighted some successful team and individual achievements from Term 3.
Bringing the assembly to a close, students were given a sneak peek of the fantastic food on offer and exciting games organised for the upcoming Feast Day. The return of the Feast Day stalls, in combination with the fun activities and end-of-day concert, has ignited a wave of excitement. It is promising to be a fantastic day for all year groups.
