Problem-Solving Pros: Our Australian Mathematics Competition Distinction Winners

Congratulations to Thaneesha, Parshva, Oliver, Ryan, Vincent, Cooper, and Shaarav for earning a Certificate of Distinction in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC).

In Term 3, students from Years 8, 9, and 10 took part in the AMC, one of Australia’s longest-running and most prestigious school maths competitions. First held in 1978, the AMC attracts more than 170,000 students from over 2,000 schools across the country each year.

This challenging competition features 30 problem-solving questions designed to push students beyond the classroom and develop their mathematical thinking.
