We had perfect and sunny weather for the Year 7/8 Lightning Carnival on Tuesday, the 17th of August. This year, Our Lady of Mercy College was one of the most well-represented schools at the carnival, with 14 teams participating. We had teams competing in the following sports:

Mixed Touch Rugby
The focus of the Lightning Carnival is on having fun and promoting participation in sport. While we had many students playing sports which they’re familiar with, it was fantastic to see some of our students trying a new sport for the very first time.
Well done to the Year 7s and 8s who competed at this carnival – you represented the College with pride and enthusiasm!
