Netball Legend Visits Year 11 Sport and Rec and PE ATAR Students

Our Year 11 Sport and Recreation and Physical Education Studies ATAR students recently heard from Australian netball star Jess Anstiss as part of her work with the West Coast Eagles' Development and Education team.

Jess spoke openly about a recent setback in her sporting career, sharing how she used resilience and mental skills to move forward and create new opportunities. She also discussed the importance of strength and conditioning in injury prevention and skill development, particularly for female athletes.

Thank you, Jess, for sharing your experiences and insights with our students.

We wish her all the best in her next chapter as she moves from West Coast Fever to the Sunshine Coast Lightning for the 2027 Suncorp Super Netball season.
