Mercy Voices Take Centre Stage at the Catholic Performing Arts Festival
This year marked an exciting milestone for Our Lady of Mercy College as we participated in the Catholic Performing Arts Festival for the very first time. Our students represented the College across vocal solos, vocal duets, choral singing and dance, showcasing their talent and courage on a public stage.
Our College Choir travelled to Perth for the final performance of the festival. Not only did they thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to perform, but they were also inspired by watching other school choirs and seeing what they can aspire to in the future.
The following day, choir members visited WAAPA's new city campus, where they enjoyed a tour and participated in a drama improvisation workshop. It was a fantastic experience that allowed students to celebrate the end of the festival while exploring future pathways in the performing arts.
