Mercy Students Shine at Global Languages Championship

Students at Our Lady of Mercy College have once again demonstrated the strength of the College’s language programs, achieving exceptional results in the recent Education Perfect Languages Championship.
Competing against schools from around the world, Mercy students showcased their language skills in both Italian and Indonesian, helping the College secure outstanding global and national rankings.
The College placed:
44th globally out of 1,622 schools
33rd in Australia
5th in Western Australia
5th overall in Italian
4th overall in Indonesian
Leading the way was Sophia, who finished as the College’s overall winner. Congratulations also go to the top-performing students who earned gift cards for their efforts, while the top 10 students were recognised with a special Italian and Indonesian lunch celebration.
