Our Hospitality students took the lead in marking Shrove Tuesday, preparing and serving freshly made pancakes for students and staff to enjoy.
Shrove Tuesday, traditionally observed as the final day of feasting before the season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, is an opportunity for both celebration and reflection. In keeping with this tradition, students enjoyed pancakes at lunchtime while supporting an important cause.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, $584 was raised through gold coin donations. All proceeds will support Project Compassion, the annual Lenten fundraising appeal conducted by Caritas Australia.
We thank our Hospitality students for their organisation and service, and our College community for their generous support.
