With the team already creating history for the College, our students went into Game 3 with confidence, taking on ladder leaders Bunbury Senior High School.

Captain Monty won the toss once again and elected to bat on a hard, dry wicket, opening alongside Sheldon after a strategic change to the batting order.

Against a good bowling line up, they were solid without being brilliant. Only 3 of our partnerships exceeded 20 runs which is well down on the team goal of 40 runs. Our captain demonstrated one of his best performances for the College and completed the only half century for the game.

Our bowling was again tight and effective dismissing the Bunbury Senior High School line up for 90 runs. Their key batters were well contained thanks to improved bowling and, importantly, our sharp fielding performance. We managed to hold all except one catch, misfields were kept to a minimum and Monty completed a sensational side-on direct hit run out.

The boys now progress to the semi-final in Perth, where they will face the second-placed Perth team on Wednesday 25 March.
