Last week, MADALAH staff headed down south to deliver the second round of mentoring to our scholars as well as students from Bunbury Cathedral Grammar and Bunbury Catholic College.
MADALAH staff strongly believe that raising awareness around social and emotional well-being (SEWB) with the students is important as it helps to ensure they stay safe and reach out for support if needed. The mental health of our students is a priority, and the MADALAH staff aims to provide ongoing support to the young people in every aspect of their SEWB journey, whether it is school-related or personal.
The second mentoring session went really well, with a lot of engagement, meaningful conversations and activities. Students took the lead in answering questions as well as introductions between themselves and the new MADALAH staff.
The trip ended at Dome Café, where a community information session was held for current and future MADALAH families. There was a great turnout, with lots of families attending.
