We are pleased to introduce our new College Counsellor, Mr Michael Grove, who has joined the Wellbeing team alongside College Counsellor Emily Denholm. Together, they will continue to provide vital support to our students and their families in the area of wellbeing.
While the College strives to proactively promote wellbeing, we understand that events and challenges—both within our local and broader communities—can impact students and families. During such times, students may wish to talk with someone they trust, and our counsellors are here to help.
Mr Grove brings a wealth of experience, with a background in education, managing residential mental health services, private practice, child protection, family domestic violence, and alcohol and drugs. He worked for twenty years in Catholic primary schools before moving into the Human Services sector, where he has taken on a range of management and client-facing roles.
Michael is passionate about meeting people and working with them to achieve their best life.
His expertise will be an incredible asset to our community.
Families can contact Mr Grove and Mrs Denholm by calling the College on (08) 9720 3300. Alternatively, families can reach out to their child’s Head of Year with any concerns.
Students can DIREQT Message Mr Grove and Mrs Denholm through SEQTA.
Please join us in welcoming Mr Grove to the College.
