On Wednesday, 2 August, some of our students had the opportunity to travel to Perth to participate in the Inspiring Girls - Careers Forum.
This unique event was all about showcasing the incredible opportunities in the resources industry to our female secondary school students (Years 10-12). The main goal was to inspire them to follow in the footsteps of successful women who have excelled in the resources sector.
Throughout the symposium, the students were exposed to the diverse employment opportunities within this dynamic industry. They had the privilege of engaging with representatives from companies, including Talison Lithium and Albemarle.
A big shoutout to the organisers of Inspiring Girls - Careers Forum for creating this wonderful platform! We firmly believe that such initiatives are crucial in empowering our female students to believe in themselves and pursue rewarding careers in traditionally male-dominated sectors.
