With the installation of the roof over the gymnasium court space, the pace of work on the construction site has increased.
Most of the window frames and coloured glass panels are now installed, and it is hoped to reach 'lock up' stage shortly. The internal walls for most of the upstairs classrooms have been completed, panelling has been added to the railings, and selected painting has commenced.
The gymnasium space is beginning to take definition with most walls, windows and doors being installed. Two extra-large fans are now hanging from the roof, and lighting works are completed. The walls in the change rooms and toilets are now tiled, and flooring is set to follow.
Everyone is eagerly awaiting the completion date, which is now scheduled for early to mid-November.
The College appreciates the ongoing cooperation of parents who use the ring road off Leisure Drive for student set down and drop off as requested to ensure the safety of all involved.
