Ethan Leach (Yr 12) Signs Up for School-Based Traineeship at Sportsmarine Boat Centre



Congratulations to Year 12 student Ethan Leach who signed a School-Based Traineeship contract with Vince Matteo from ATC Worksmart and Idris Achmad from MEGT last week.


Ethan has applied himself diligently to the College’s Workplace Learning (WPL) program since last year. He has completed well over 200 hours of work experience with his host employer Sportsmarine Boat Centre in Bunbury. Ethan has shown a mature approach to his work placement and developed his on-the-job skills proving to be a valuable addition to his work team.


During his Traineeship, Ethan will work towards completing the Nationally Recognised Qualification Certificate II in Automotive Electrical Technology. He will attend the workplace two days per week and complete his studies at Our Lady of Mercy College on the remaining three days.


We are very proud of your achievements Ethan and wish you all the very best with your Traineeship and future career. We also sincerely thank his workplace supervisors, Greg and Jordan Collett, for their mentorship and Vince and Idris for their ongoing support of our students.
