Double Award Success for Mercy Graduate at Iluka Visions 2026
Congratulations to Emmasyn Dillon, Class of 2025, who received two major awards at the Iluka Visions 2026 award ceremony, held at Bunbury Regional Art Gallery on Sunday 18 October.
Emmasyn was awarded the Year 11 & 12 Best Overall Award and the Viewer’s Choice Award for her mixed-media artwork, I don't think you see me (2025).
Receiving both awards is an outstanding achievement and a testament to the excellence of Mercy's Visual Arts Department. The College is proud to support students in developing their artistic skills, exploring ideas and expressing themselves through their work.
Iluka Visions provides a valuable opportunity for young artists across the region to exhibit their work and have their creativity recognised by the wider community. Emmasyn’s success is a wonderful example of what students can achieve through their dedication and the support of their teachers.
Congratulations to Emmasyn and to all other Mercy students who exhibited in Iluka Visions 2026. Thank you to the Visual Arts Department staff for their commitment to nurturing our students’ artistic development and supporting their participation in this exhibition.
Thank you to Bunbury Regional Art Gallery, the City of Bunbury, Iluka Resources Pty Ltd and Framed for supporting Iluka Visions 2026 and providing this opportunity for young artists.
