Bunbury Bridge Walk for Reconciliation — Now More Than Ever

On Friday, 31 May, our students proudly participated in the Bunbury Bridge Walk for Reconciliation.

The walk began at the Wardandi Boodja sculpture in Koombana Bay, proceeded along the footbridge, and concluded at the Graham Bricknell Memorial Music Shell. The students were inspired by speeches from guest speakers and local elders and enjoyed performances of music and dance from community groups.

The National Reconciliation Week theme for 2024, Now More Than Ever, is a reminder to all of us that no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will —and must —continue.

Let us all stand together in this important journey towards reconciliation.
