The Breakfast Club has returned and is once again bringing plenty of smiles to students at the College. Every Wednesday and Friday morning, our Foodbank supported initiative sees student and staff volunteers prepare, cook and serve a nutritious breakfast before the school day begins.
Research shows that School Breakfast Programs can make a real difference, helping students focus better in class, feel a sense of belonging and support their overall wellbeing.
We are grateful to the government and corporate sponsors whose support helps keep this program running by covering part of the cost of breakfast items.
Families and businesses are also welcome to support the program by donating items such as canned beans, spaghetti, oats, Milo or UHT milk. Monetary donations can also be made towards purchasing items such as bread and cheese, which Foodbank does not supply. Donations from $5 up to $50 can be made via CDFpay. If you are able to assist in another way, please contact the College Finance Department.
Breakfast Club runs every Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 – 8:30 am at the Gym servery window.
All students are welcome to attend.
