We were honoured to welcome Bishop George Kolodziej on Friday 27 february, as he led our College Opening Mass.
Bishop George spoke to our students in a way that was both authentic and very relatable. Rather than focusing on what they hope to achieve this academic year, he challenged them to consider a more important question: What type of person do you want to be this year?
Following the Mass, Bishop George generously stayed to meet with our student leaders. He shared his vision for a Young Persons Forum in Bunbury, where important issues such as homelessness and support for the underprivileged can be discussed openly. He emphasised how much he values the opinions and voices of young people across our region.
Thank you, Bishop George, for your leadership and for inspiring our students.
