Audiences in Awe by Talented Cast of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

In a spectacular display of talent and dedication, students from Our Lady of Mercy College and Bunbury Catholic College took to the stage this term to perform the hit musical "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". And what a performance it was! From the colourful costumes to the stunning set design, every detail of the show was executed with dedication and passion.

We are so proud of all the students involved, as they have been rehearsing for months, putting in countless hours of hard work and dedication. The result was a show that was truly remarkable and left audiences entertained and inspired.

We have received some lovely feedback from our community, which we would like to share here:

“WOW just WOW!! My husband and I took two Year 7 boys in the hopes they would be inspired to participate in future plays, congratulations OLMC on delivering this most wonderful rendition of one of our family favourites! Special mention to Augusta's mother; she made us die with laughter, absolutely fabulous!! And grandpa Joe, your singing voice was incredible!! Well done to everyone on a wonderful team effort.”

I was so impressed by the whole production, well done everyone 👏👏 As a parent of a past performer I also congratulate the parents of the students, without your support they would not be there 🤩”

“Thanks to everybody who came and saw the show and took the time to post such positive comments. Please continue to support the Arts. As a director, producer and teacher, I was extremely proud of how each and every student conducted themselves throughout such a hectic week (and the 10 months leading up to it). All of the performances were outstanding which ultimately came down to their dedication, hard work and perseverance. I am extremely lucky to have the opportunity to work with students of this calibre.“
