A Special Farewell to the Class of 2026

There is something special about the final week of Year 12. After years of classes, friendships, activities, challenges and plenty of memories, our Year 12 students have reached the end of their time at Our Lady of Mercy College.
Their final week gave our College community plenty of opportunities to celebrate the Class of 2026 and reflect on their journey.
A significant moment was the Mass on Wednesday with Father Roshan, providing an opportunity for the students to come together in prayer and reflection.
The final day on Thursday began with a breakfast in the Gymnasium before students gathered in the Library for special presentations and thankyous. All students and staff then came together for a special assembly. It was wonderful to have so many Year 12 parents join us as we celebrated this important milestone with the students.
The assembly also provided an opportunity to recognise the contribution of our Student Council and our Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, acknowledging the leadership and service they have given to the College.
The day ended with a particularly memorable farewell, as the Year 12 students made their way through an archway of staff.
We thank the Class of 2026 for the energy and personality they have brought to our College community.
We will see the students one more time at their official Graduation Ceremony in Term 4.
We are proud of you, Year 12s, and wish you all the best for the future.
There are some videos and slideshows made by Year 12 students which will be made available to Year 12 families in the coming weeks.
