Each year, our Year 9 Visual Arts students design a painting for the College birthday card, which is then gifted to students the following year. In 2025, the standard of work was exceptionally high, with students producing striking artworks inspired by the Art Deco style.

We are pleased to recognise two students for their outstanding achievement. Congratulations to Lucy (Year 9), whose artwork has been selected as the 2026 College Birthday Card design. Congratulations also to Ava (Year 9), who was named runner-up.

We extend our sincere thanks to Ms Lee-Anne Abdo for her dedication in guiding students through the design process, research and painting.

Well done to all students involved. Your confident technique, thoughtful use of colour and strong understanding of the Art Deco style are to be commended.
