Our Year 10 cohort embraced the opportunity to participate in Year 10 Work Experience Week in Term 2. Work Experience is part of the journey to assist students with subject selection decisions for Years 11 and 12.

From Vasse to Busselton, Collie, Harvey and Waroona, our Career Services team visited students across the region and loved seeing them thrive in real-world workplaces.

The feedback from the host employers was overwhelmingly positive, which is a true testament to the enthusiasm and work ethic of our students.

Gillian, Practice Manager at Bunbury and Busselton Eye Specialists, emailed the College to share her praise for student Tabitha:

"It was an absolute pleasure hosting Tabitha for her Work Experience week. No task was too great for her—she was extremely polite, enthusiastic and eager to learn."

Evelyn, Clinical Nurse Manager at Bunbury Skin Cancer Clinic, also shared her thoughts about student Samuel:

"I have to say this young man is a credit to himself, his parents, and his school. He is engaged, intelligent and extremely respectful. Samuel delighted in observing skin cancer excisions and was very interested in the different types of skin cancers. He blossomed under Dr A. Snelling’s guidance, learning about skin layers, sizing and the spread of skin cancers. All of the nurses expressed what a delight he is. We’re looking forward to having him back again."

Thank you to all the staff at the businesses and organisations who generously hosted our students and supported their learning. Your support helps shape their future pathways and confidence.
