Term 4 kicked off with an unforgettable experience for 140 of our Year 10 students at the Outdoor Adventure Camp. Students enjoyed five days of hiking, camping, bush cooking, and teamwork, pushing their limits while developing resilience and friendships.
This camp wasn’t just about outdoor activities; it was an opportunity for students to step out of their comfort zones and embrace new challenges. Congratulations to every student for their courage and enthusiasm, which made the camp a success.

The experience would not have been possible without the dedication of our staff volunteers, who offered their time and encouragement, often challenging themselves alongside the students. A big thank you to Mrs Branson's bull terrier, Rosie, for displaying the Mercy Value of Hospitality by warmly welcoming every student with a wag!
We’re proud of all who attended and look forward to seeing them carry these newfound strengths into the rest of the term.
"Despite some hardships, including sickness and injury, I was able to challenge myself as much as I could, and was able to complete camp with no worries to speak of. I was extremely proud of myself for doing this. Bonding with some people I didn't talk to on a daily basis was a challenge in itself. In the end, we all came together as a group and had some great times talking at night, playing games and sitting around a campfire. OEG Camp 2024 was one, if not THE highlight of Year 10." Thomas Mills
"During camp, our group leader would always say, "If you can't get out of it, get into it." I feel like it's a motivating quote for those going on camp next year." Charlotte Penn
