Food Bank Food Incursion by Thomas Mills (Year 8)

On Thursday, 27 October 2022, my Year 8 Home Economics class participated in an incursion with Food Bank. We learnt more about the food we eat and how much sugar the sugary drinks we drink have. Of course, the highlight for us was cooking some delicious meals.

There were some amazing dishes like salads, dips and of course, dessert. Everyone did a fantastic job with the time we had. Then, we all enjoyed eating the meals we made. Another classmate and I made some incredible drinks for all to share. In the end, we got some cookbooks for us to use at home which included meals we made. This was probably a highlight for all our class for this semester as it was for me. I absolutely loved it.
