Our Career Services Team recently visited the Bunbury Regional Trade Training Centre, Eaton Community College Training Facility, to visit one of our Year 11 students, Karne Thomson. Karne is currently studying the Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology through CARTEC.Â
During our time with Karne, it was clear that he has a genuine enthusiasm for his studies, which equips him with the industry-specific skills, knowledge, and practical experience needed for a successful transition into the automotive industry.
The visit reaffirmed the importance of vocational education in preparing students like Karne for rewarding careers in their chosen fields.
The College thanks Donna Wroth from the Bunbury Regional Trade Training Centre for all her hard work and efforts in offering so many opportunities for our students.  Â
Please contact our Career Services Team for more information on Vocational Education & Training courses for secondary school students. Students in Years 11 and 12 can access these courses whilst studying at Our Lady of Mercy College.
