This term, a dedicated group of Year 9 students have been working on an incredible HASS project: creating a replica of a World War One Gallipoli trench. Through this project, they've learnt about the circumstances faced by soldiers and the sacrifices they made.
The students' attention to detail, understanding of military strategy, and impressive hot glue gun skills shine through in their work. A big thank you to Ms Russell for her guidance and enthusiasm throughout this project!
In addition to the trench model, the students are also filming a documentary titled “Letters from the Trench,” which we can't wait to see.
