During Pastoral Period this week, our Year 10 students participated in an activity called 'Relationship Tree'. The exercise drew a comparison between healthy trees and healthy relationships.
The core values of relationships were compared to the tree's roots, holding things firm in poor weather. The cohort also examined challenges to relationships, which they compared to bugs and pests. They then considered the kind acts that friends can do for one another and compared them to the leaves of the tree.
The Year 10s engaged in discussion with enthusiasm and contributed ideas openly and honestly. The end product was both thought-provoking and beautiful.
