Thank you for expressing an interest in a place for your child at Our Lady of Mercy College. We understand that choosing a school for your child is one of life’s major decisions and requires careful thought.
Our prime focus is to ensure that your child’s educational experience enables them to develop fully and empowers them to make a positive contribution to society. We hold strongly to the view that the success of every student is important.
Below is information regarding the College Enrolment Process for students wishing to enrol for Year 7 2023.
Step 1: Enrolment Application
We invite families who have yet to put in an enrolment application to do so as soon as possible via this link:
Please be advised that there are only limited spots available for Year 7, 2023.
Step 2: Parent Information Evening
A Parent Information Evening was held on Wednesday, 11 August 2021. Information of a general nature was provided by students and senior staff members at this meeting.
Step 3: Enrolment Interviews
As advised at the Parent Information Evening, our Enrolment Interviews took place at the end of Term 3, Term 4 of 2021, and Term 1, 2022. Due to the limited spots available, we will contact families via phone after receipt of the enrolment application to organise an interview.
The purpose of the interview is to provide families with a more personal opportunity to meet with a senior member of the College leadership team. The individual needs of the child will be considered and an opportunity to ask questions will be provided.
If you haven’t already done so, please email a copy of your child’s Birth Certificate, Baptism Certificate, Citizen/Visa paperwork, latest school semester report, NAPLAN results as well as any Medical/Specialists reports applicable to firstname.lastname@example.org and contact our Enrolments Department on (08) 9720 3300 to arrange payment of the $50.00 application fee.
Step 4: Letter of Offer
A Letter of Offer will be posted out after the enrolment interview has taken place.
Step 5: Acceptance of Offer
Acceptance of Offer Form to be returned within the indicated timeframe on the Letter of Offer.
Step 6: Student Orientation Information
Student Orientation Information will be sent out to families in Term 3, 2022.
