Our Lady of Mercy College Australind is a nurturing co-educational secondary College for students from Year 7 to Year 12.
Our College is a new and vibrant College located in Australind, which is locally referred to as an aquatic paradise. Surrounded by water with the Brunswick and Collie Rivers to the east and south and the Leschenault Estuary to the west, it's a great place for boating, sailing, windsurfing, fishing and raising a family.

This role assumes responsibility for the overall integration of the various services provided within the College and for the direct leadership of the Administration Team.
We are looking for a highly organised individual with well-developed interactive and personal relationship skills. They will be confident in working individually and collaborating within a team context. A key aspect of this role involves leading and working with the Administration Team.
Essential Selection Criteria
The successful person will have;
A Catholic background or the ability to demonstrate empathy with the Catholic ethos of the College
Administration and/or Leadership qualifications related to the role
Demonstrated experience in leading a team
Well-developed interactive and personal relationship skills
Ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet appropriate deadlines
Professional written and oral communication skills
High-level organisation and planning skills
Uncompromising confidentiality and professionalism
Flexible and adaptable approach to work
Ability to show initiative within a team context
Desirable Selection Criteria
In-depth knowledge of school administration systems
Knowledge of Catholic Education processes
Well-developed knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite
Western Australia Department of Education National Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
Working with Children Screen Check
Have completed, working towards, or be willing to work towards completing to CEWA Accreditation requirements. Additional information can be found here: CEWA Limited Accreditation Framework
Formal qualifications in an Administrative related area will be advantageous
Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 4.00pm (negotiable).
44 Weeks, including one week before the commencement of the academic year.
Full-time ongoing position
Some after-hours work may be required from time to time.
One week of additional leave in recognition of after-hours responsibilities.
Level 5, Step 6 - $83,673 commensurate with experience and qualifications
Award: Administrative and Technical Officers EBA
