I am an essential worker. Can my child still come to school?

The closure is an extension of the school holidays, and no lessons or supervision will be provided this week.

Will the Year 12 Ball still go ahead?

After consultation with both Year 12 students and the Events Planner at the Mercure Sanctuary Golf Club Resort, we have made the decision to postpone the Ball.

The current lockdown situation was unexpected and has led to much uncertainty about what the next few weeks will bring. Even if the Premier decides to lift the lockdown on Friday at 6.00pm, we cannot be sure if restrictions regarding the gathering of large groups of people will enable us to hold a function for the number of students and staff attending the Ball.

This timely postponement of the Ball also ensures that the College will not incur any unnecessary costs for rescheduling at short notice should the lockdown remain in place.

Students expressed their concerns about the limited opportunities to prepare for this function and difficulties which may present. Rescheduling the event, will enable individuals to comfortably plan for the necessary preparations in the future.

Early next week, in consultation with both students and venue staff, we will begin the process of considering alternative dates for the Ball, Information regarding the new date will be sent to parents as soon as possible.

I am a Year 10 student. Why can't I log in to my SEQTA Learn or email?

All Year 10 student logins for SEQTA Learn & CEWA have now had the password reset to default.

This is to assist our IT Department in preconfiguring the new Year 10 devices.

Preconfiguring will allow the College to distribute the devices as soon as possible to the students.

If students are trying to currently access their SEQTA Learn or email from home devices, the default password is 'Student' followed by their full date of birth eg. StudentDDMMYYYY

Usernames have not changed.

Apologies for any inconvenience. To avoid any unnecessary complications, students are asked not to reset their passwords until they return to campus.
