Our Lady of Mercy College Australind is a nurturing co-educational secondary College for students from Year 7 to Year 12.
 

Our Lady of Mercy College is a new and vibrant College, located in Australind which is locally referred to as an aquatic paradise. Surrounded by water with the Brunswick and Collie Rivers to the east and south and the Leschenault Estuary to the west, it's a great place for boating, sailing, windsurfing, fishing and raising a family. Just 11 kilometres north of Bunbury, you can reach Perth in one and a half hours along the Forrest Highway, making Australind an ideal sea change location.
 

The Catholic faith, in the Mercy tradition, is at the heart of the College. The guiding philosophy is centred in ‘Embracing Life, Nurturing Faith and Inspiring Learning’. To meet the increased demand for student places, the College invites applications for the role of Campus Services Coordinator.
 

This role assumes responsibility for the overall integration of the various services provided within the College and for the direct leadership of the Administration Team. The College employs in excess of 80 staff and has an operating budget of approximately $15 million per annum.
 

We are looking for a highly organised individual, who has well-developed interactive and personal relationship skills. They will be confident in their ability to work individually and to collaborate within a team context. A key aspect of this role involves leading and working with the Administration Team. In addition, the role involves interacting and coordinating with the leaders of other teams including Communications/Marketing, IT Services, Property Services, Uniform Supplies and Catering as required.
 

This position commences mid-January 2021.

 

Essential Selection Criteria

 

The successful person will have;

  • A Catholic background or the ability to demonstrate empathy with the Catholic ethos of the College

  • Administration/Management qualifications related to the role

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team

  • Well-developed interactive and personal relationship skills

  • Ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet appropriate deadlines

  • Professional written and oral communication skills

  • High level organisation and planning skills

  • Uncompromising confidentiality and professionalism

  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work

  • Ability to show initiative within a team context

Desirable Selection Criteria

  • In-depth knowledge of school administration systems such as Maze

  • Knowledge of Catholic Education processes

  • Knowledge of Human Resources systems and staff onboarding processes

  • Well-developed knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite

Qualifications Required

  • Administration/Management qualifications related to the role

  • Western Australia Department of Education National Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)

  • Working with Children Screen Check

  • Have completed, working towards, or be willing to work towards completing to CEWA Accreditation requirements. Additional information can be found here: CEWA Limited Accreditation Framework

Hours

 

Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 4.00pm (negotiable).
Full time ongoing position
Some afterhours work may be required from time to time.

 

Salary Package

 

Level 5, $76,459 - $82,673 commensurate with experience and qualifications
Award: Administrative and Technical Officers EBA
