2022 P&F Report

Our Lady of Mercy College continues to grow in its size and its traditions. The past year proved to be challenging for everyone in our community, and it made gathering to plan for friendship and fundraising events difficult.

It was wonderful to have a core group of parents attend meetings in Terms 3 and 4 as well as plenty of volunteers for events which, sadly, did not eventuate because of the pandemic.

The P&F helped fund and support a number of worthy projects such as musical instruments, a rolling mill for Jewellery class, the Pedal Prix car, the Breakfast Club, College bursaries, a portable PA system and the Year 12 Common Room.

In 2023, the P&F is excited about the prospect of holding some community-building events with the first being an evening in Term 1 to bring Year 7 students and their families together with sporting activities and food trucks.

There are a few fundraising events in the planning stages. Keep an eye out on the Our Lady of Mercy Facebook page for meeting dates so you can be involved.
